WHO’S WHO —
an international brand with tradition
Dr. Stephen S. Taylor,
founder of the Central
European Times Publishing Co. Ltd.
The name WHO’S WHO is synonymous worldwide for the exclusive presentation of selected individuals and companies in compiled books. Since 1849 biographies of prominent individuals have been published under the brand name WHO’S WHO.
Dr. Stephen S. Taylor, who founded the Central European Times Publishing Co. Ltd. in 1928 (the forerunner to the publishing group IBP–BVW), published the first edition of WHO’S WHO on the European continent in 1933 in Zürich. Today, the IBP–BVW group publishes the internationally known WHO’S WHO titles in North America, Europe and Asia. All editions by the publishing group offer exclusive information in the distinctive classic red book design which has become a trademark of WHO’S WHO. With its binding and undulating embossing, the titles have become protected international trademarks.
The WHO’S WHO editions are presented at international book fairs such as the Singapore International Book Fair and the Book Expo America in New York.
